You would think that he'd see the analogy to his situation and to government spending.

Much as I detest his politics, I wish him well. These are dangerous operations.

That's for sure. And unfortunately, the more you have to lose, the more dangerous it is.

"When I was in the state Assembly, I played second base," he said. "I haven't played softball in a long, long time. I'd like to do that again"

2nd base? Would have thought he would have been better as the pitcher's mound.

Nadler's taking the subway now? I live near Mt. Sinai hospital. I'll believe it when I see him on the 6-train platform...

Wouldn't a chainsaw be more appropriate?

LOL!

Drop dead period.

Typical liberal approach: shirk responsibility for your circumstance and have an expert (the gub'ment) come in to fix your problem.

I'm sure Nadler isn't paying for this procedure out of his own pocket. Wanna bet that we are?

I wish him well, too. I had a gastric bypass 10 years ago, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I went from 306 lbs down to 150, and found out for certain there's DEFINATELY a genetic reason for obesity in some people. In my case it was an extra 20ft of small intestine. I could've eaten sand and gained weight, so my doctor (and lifesaver) says.

A lot of the risks involved in this surgery are pre-op health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, blood pressure, etc. I was only 27 when I had it done, had perfect blood pressure & blood sugar, and my case was a total success. I wish the best for Mr. Nadler, too.

I hope he does well, too. His ideas are so warped, it'd be no fun if he wasn't around to hold up as a shining example of how not to think.

Wow, an extra 20 feet? Average length for the small intestine is 30 feet, so yours was 50 feet? Sometimes I wonder how all that stays packed in our innards.

This won't change his other problem. They don't call him Gerald Nadless for nothing.
