"Why else would the Iraqi army have caches of thousands of chemical proof suits, which we found in the early days of the war."

And the atropine and injectors by the thousands. These things can't be innocently explained away. "Heavy allergies" isn't going to cut it. And there most certainly is yellow-cake uranium in Iraq, as reported by these stories:

Nuclear poisoning in Iraq; excerpt:

" Many residents in villages close to the huge Tuwaitha nuclear facility, about a dozen miles south of Baghdad, were exhibiting signs of radiation illness last week, including rashes, acute vomiting and severe nosebleeds.

As Saddam Hussein's regime collapsed last month, villagers began looting barrels of uranium oxide, known as "yellow cake," from the site, which they then emptied to use to store water, milk and yogurt.

Tuwaitha radiation to heart of U.S. admin in Iraq; excerpt:

Baghdad, Iraq, July 4th 2003 - Greenpeace activists today brought the head of the US civil administration in Iraq, Paul Bremer, a container of radioactive uranium 'yellowcake', found abandoned in the community outside the Tuwaitha nuclear facility, urging him to allow the return of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to carry out a full survey and decontamination of Iraq.

Iraqis Suffer From Radiation Symptoms; excerpt:

AL-MADA'IN, Iraq -- Dozens of people are showing up every day at a hospital near a defunct Iraqi nuclear plant, suffering from rashes, bloody noses and other symptoms of radiation poisoning, doctors said Saturday.

The Tuwaitha nuclear facility, 12 miles south of Baghdad, was left unguarded after Iraqi troops fled the area on the eve of the war. It is thought to have contained hundreds of tons of natural uranium and nearly two tons of low-enriched uranium, which could be used to make nuclear weapons.

And then there are these:

Team Inspects suspected plutonium site (update by the journalist who broke original story, NEW info)

Underground Nuclear Facility Found in Iraq

Minister says Iraq tried to buy equipment for enriching uranium from Romania

Iraqi physicists documents discuss laser enrichment of uranium for Nukes-UN inspector

And what about this one? Very odd:

Australian troops show uranium sickness signs, claims expert: "Australian servicemen and women who served in the recent Iraq war were reporting symptoms of uranium sickness, a United States nuclear weapons expert said today."

You can't tell me there's no yellow-cake in Iraq. They had to get it from somewhere. Africa is as likely as anywhere.

You should be ashamed, trying to confuse all the liberal/leftist/DU lurkers with FACTS.

FACTS are inconvenient to them, only the emotion of self-righteousness matters to the fellow travelers on the left.

All this will be another "crow feast" in the not too distant future.

Thanks for your excellent links! The Tuwaitha story is certainly one that deserves much, much more press coverage than it has gotten so far. The foreign press is way ahead of the U.S. in coverage of this story. John Loftus on Batchelor and Alexander has spent a fair amount of time on this topic, but not too much lately. A month or two ago, Loftus talked about the fight between the UN and US over who should control the site. The US eventually prevailed because the UN could not prevent the looting.
