These are a very special kind of American. They see themselves as true patriots. They see themselves as exercising their constitutional rights every time they open up their mouths. They live in San Francisco and they live in Oregon. Places that are still within the present borders of the United States, but not necessarily for long.
The people of the town of Ashland, Oregon are very upset that the state of Oregon has a law that makes it mandatory for every school in the state to have a flagpole and to fly the American flag. The people of Ashland Oregon, live, work and raise their children in a country they hate. You see, the people of Ashland demand that the American flag not fly in their city.

No thanks. I'll wait until somebody posts the full text.

The left is attempting to parse and redefine the word patriot to mean ~opposition~. Bull hockey.
A patriot is the person who is defending this country from all enemies foreign and domestic. A patriot is one who will support and defend the Constitution of the United States in the face of every globalist attempt to impose Socialism or a UN form of governance that would end our Constitutional Republic.
Some people think that there are so many idiots and stupid people populating this country now that they cannot understand the Left's cooption of language. I think there are still people who know that a word is exactly what it means and there is a right and a wrong in every situation.
Demanding we pay tribute to a global governance and appease those who would destroy the United States of America is not the name of Patriot.

Not "Tootsie", but "The Hillary Clinton story: In her own words". He would be perfect, since he is often cast as a psycho. Good eye!

What's with the unneccessary excerpt? The value of Free Republic is the archives. For a look at what FR would look like if everyone excerpted, check out lucianne.com

Following an example of Neil Cavuto, I would replace the ideas of forginers with ungrateful self-hating American liberals as seen:
"What do you tell Native Americans (search) who say the same thing, leave? The only way anything ever gets better is through dissent. The love-it-or-leave-it is crap."
Joe and Sandy, I'm not saying love it or leave it. Im saying, "Try it and don't knock it."
I look at it this way: If someone invites me over to dinner, I'm not going to complain. If that person went to the trouble to make the meal, who am I to criticize the meal? This isn't demagoguery, it's called decency.
It would be like me standing up in a London pub, after the owner treated me to a nice dinner, and me shouting at the top of my lungs, "This fish and chips stinks!"
Who would do that? You would.
Let me be clear: If you don't like our government, quit sponging off our government.
If you don't flip over our schools, quit applying to our schools.
If you find us arrogant, find some people who aren't arrogant.
If you don't like our system, stick to your system.
We are guilty of many things in this country. An incredible amount of patience is one of them. We let you prattle on without taking you on. No more. If you can't find anything good to say, please say goodbye.
Look, we are the world's melting pot, but right now we have a lot of crackpots.
Yes, I'm old-fashioned. I hold guests to a different standard. Disagree, but don't be disagreeable. And about now, you are way beyond disagreeable. You are rude and abrasive, cruel and condescending. You are everything you say we are in this country. Only you're saying it, while sucking up everything you can from this country.
You're not only rude guests. You're the rude guests who won't leave.
I'd like showing you the back of my hand. May I suggest instead, showing you something else.
The door?
