Kathy Eder holds a deck of cards she designed in San Jose, Calif., Monday, July 14, 2003. Eder, a high school teacher, fed up with the Bush administration's popular playing cards featuring Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), ``Chemical Ali'' and other most-wanted Iraqis, is now selling her own deck, ``Operation Hidden Agenda.'' Whatever. All I'm saying is that I think it's a few relics driving this sort of nincompoopery. The demographic trend of the student body, and therefore of the parents, and therefore of the donors, is conservative. Well-to-do sons of immigrant enginners don't usually give a rat's patootie about the Leftist agendas of white liberal whiners. They're capitalists through and through.
It doesn't surprise that a bunch of 'fight the power!' Baby Boomer Leftists have infiltrated the school, though. God knows that's common enough in California.

Show me a Jesuit and I'll show you a heretic. What God fearing Christian would tolerate the teaching of abortion as an acceptable "life style" choice or would ally himself with communists and their "causes"?

I sent her the one in #70.

This is great!
BTW, if you produced it, keep it around for a while (don't delete it). I emailed it to Ms. Eder.

Her email -- keder@bcp.org
Found it by going to school's website, looking at courses, "Religious Studies," clicked on "Faculty," and there she was.

Of course, all of us sitting here at our computers are within 5 pounds of our ideal weight, physically fit, impeccably groomed, coiffed and dressed, and inordinately attractive, right? Damn, you have me pegged. How'd you know?

This is suppose to be a Catholic school? They say the class is about reproductive rights? That is obvious code language for promoting abortion.I heard this woman interviewed last weekend. She was claiming that "many Catholics believe in choice" and said that she points out to her students that the reason the Catholic church is against so many forms of contraceptives is that they are actually early-acting abortifacients. (In other words, she tries to make her students think that there is no difference between taking the pill and having an abortion; that kind of tactic has been used by Planned Parenthood since the 70's as part of their pro-abortion propaganda.)
Most of what she said about this topic and about the Iraq war were typical liberal muddy utterances. Not a single thing she said was anything that a logical person would conclude upon reflection of the facts. The host (I don't know who he was) asked some pretty pointed questions, which she sidestepped by uttering more liberal mush. She became pretty defensive, a sure sign that she is perfectly aware that her position is not supportable by facts or logic.

She's a liar. The only "early-acting abortifacient" is the so-called "morning after pill." However, she's right that many Catholics believe it's ok to murder unborn innocents. They are Christians in name only.
