Title Mobile phone romance is all in his head
Question: I have recently started a new job, where a Muslim guy works as a security guard and has gotten access to my mobile number. He sent me text messages a few times just making conversation then started to tell me I have nice eyes and I am the type of girl he has always been looking for.
I told him that I am a decent, respectable, Muslim girl who tries my best to keep on the straight path. He understood this and stopped paying me compliments like he used to but still sends me text messages as a friend everyday to see how I am doing.
I see him as a good friend and I am sure he does too. But I feel guilty for writing him back all the time and feel it is the wrong thing to do. Please help me, as it has started to get me down! I need some advice as to whether it is right to continue this friendship, but I do not know how to end it either.

Answer
Allah Most High is indeed guiding you and protecting you from the seductive nature of this security guard. We agree with you that the best course of action would be to stop communicating with this man. We appreciate your desire to be nice in this rather awkward situation. Frankly, the least of your worries is to be nice to a Muslim man or any man who tries to flirt with you. However, we realize that you will have to continue working at the same place, and therefore, it would be best to end the friendship in a considerate manner.
Experience tells us that it is better to be straightforward in saying what you have to say then to try and be indirect and end up complicating the issue further. If you feel comfortable talking to him in person, we suggest that you tell him politely that you wish to discontinue having any kind of relationship with him. Be quite clear about what you mean. Tell him you no longer wish to receive any text messages via your mobile number. Do not engage him in a conversation about why you feel the way you do because you will only prolong the awkwardness of the moment. At the same time, make sure you are discreet enough in choosing an appropriate yet direct tone of voice so as to avoid embarrassing him in front of other co-workers. If he chooses to raise his voice or create a scene, simply walk away.
Inshaallah we hope that you will give this issue some serious thought. You should not delay talking to this man and ending the relationship. If you see him after you have ended the relationship, it is entirely up to you how you wish to handle day to day pleasantries such as greeting him etc. Remember however, that he could for whatever reason assume that you will someday change your mind about him and might very well misinterpret any of your actions or words as a sign of hope. Be careful and inshaallah make dua that Allah Most High guides you to end this situation in the best way possible. And Allah knows best.

Security guard? Don't take the chance. He just wants inside your pants.
Be sure to keep her barefoot and pregnant, too.

MIDI - LONG COOL WOMAN IN A BLACK DRESS
(fairly long intro)
Im in my cave getting lonely
fighting for the Taliban
There are needs that have been building
after all, I am a man
So I got up on my old camel
and I headed to a little camp
I would not leave until I got me some
I would find me a sweet Afghani tramp
She came out of her tent and right up to me she slithered
There was a big lump in my thro-oa-oa-oa-oat
She was a short squatty woman in a burqa
oh, my goodness, she smelled like my goat
Im scared of whats inside that burqa
and my words you certainly may quote
(musical break)
So into her tent I then followed
I was there so Id take a chance
She gave me Michelob in a bottle
then she stood up and she started to dance
She saw that there was some arousal
she heard a great big ooh and an aah
She started taking off that burqa
and I saw that she was Donna Shalala
So I started to scream and went running
I could not see my camel at all
It was difficult to breathe
I said Ive gotta leave
It had been a big mistake
and Allah, I am here for you to take
A short squatty woman in a burqa
yes, I swear, she smelled just like my goat
Shes a short squatty woman in a burqua
and, my goodness, she smelled like my goat
You can quote

Topic Of Fatwa Hairstyle for women
Question of Fatwa Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. Is it permissible for a woman to have her hair shortened? Jazakum Allah khayran.

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
Women often opt for short hair because of the way it frames the face. Short hairstyles are sometimes a form of beautification for most women.
Given this, according to Islam, there is nothing wrong in women having their hair shortened as long as it is done for the sake of beautifying themselves and nothing more. This is quite different from shaving head, which is completely forbidden for women.
If a woman has her hair cropped with the intention of looking masculine or non-Muslims, then it is forbidden, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is reported to have said: "May Allah's Curse be inflicted upon women who imitate men and vice versa." (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
In this regard, Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and an Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, states:
A woman can shorten her hair provided she avoids a hairstyle peculiar to men. The Prophet, peace be on him, has cursed men who copy women and women who copy men. This applies to hairstyle and appearance. So long as she avoids this, she is permitted to cut her hair. There is no prohibition in the sources. We should remember that originally the rule is permission; prohibition is only an exception.
However, we must add a word of caution. A Muslim woman is required to cover her head and not expose it except to her husband or her Mahram (non-marriageable relative). [Source: www.islam.ca]
