The Clintons had a lot of police power and it wasn't gentle. People who messed around with the Powers That Be down there had a way of ending up prematurely dead. As a close observer said in a recent interview, using Monica Lewinsky to get Clinton was a lot like using income tax evasion to get Al Capone.
