Afraid I can't agree with the title's presumption. We won the acute phase of this war, but the chronic phase is still going on and the winnner has yet to be determined. If the country ends up in the hands of a bunch of Shi'a mullahs, I won't consider that we won. Or, if you prefer, I'm saying that we won the war, but have yet to win the peace.
