Anyone ping you, yet? Can you think of anyone else who might be interested in this?

Apparently Wilson's wife has worked for the CIA or is still working for the CIA.
If they had pillow talk about this, and he was not cleared. Both of them could be in some really hot water.

The funny thing is that any reporter worth his or her salt can get to the bottom of these things.......IF they want to.Chris Matthews flat out lied last night on his program about that Wilson guy. He said he was a conservitave who worked for the Reagan admin and never mentioned that he wrote that article for the Nation or any of the other stuff.
I wish someone that can express themselves better than me would send him an email and point this out.

I think that if you establish a previous pattern of behavior it tends to strengthen assertions of similar behavior of a more recent nature, ie if you have been found guilty of extortion then if someone claims you defrauded them too, it lowers the bar a bit, wouldnt you agree?
What this shows, in my laymens view is that charges that saddam went to niger to get nuke material is not just idle speculation, he has a track record.
To: johnqueuepublic
Good article, but the president didn't mention "Niger" in his State of the Union Address. He said Africa:
"The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

Chris matthews is a detestable pig, and possibly the illegitimate offspring of Tip o Neil and Helen Thomas.
No point sending him anything but room freshener.

See my post 55 in this thread about more detail of the specifics of this claim, that the intelligence the British have is real.
Considering that Saddam has continuously bought and tried to buy more uranium and equipment to try to enrich it by various methods, as this article points out, it is quite likely he did seek uranium from Niger.
The ONLY claim that he did not, comes from an anti-Bush "diplomat", who went to Niger, asked some Nigerian officials, whether they sold any uranium to Saddam lately, so what do you think they were going to say. And based on that, he wrote a NY Times editorial claiming that Bush "islead the nation" and so on, which the Dems are desperately trying to turn into something that sticks, and it will backfire on them.

All I know about her is that her name is Valerie Plame and for some reason evrytime she is mentioned it says the "Former Valerie Plame" what ever the hell that means, sounds like another Kerry-Hienz deal :-)
She is an Operative in the CIA and was instrumental in sending her husband Joseph Wilson (Former AL Gore employee) to Niger for this all important highly sensitive investigation on Uranium sales between Niger and Iraq.
Joe Wilson went to Niger and asked Terrance J. Wilkiinson if he knew if Niger was selling "Yellow Cake" to Niger but he said he was unaware of any such things happening :-) Joe Wilson then asked Greg Packer if he knew of any such sales and he said no as well. So Joe Wilson has come to the conclusion that George W. Bush is a liar and Joe Wilson decided it was time to write an OP-ED for the NYT's and the shiite has hit the fan.
P.S. the last paragraph can be verified by Doug Thopson of Capitol Hill Blue :-)

yellow cake crumb, you have a sharp eye, I think the typo was corrected on the

Did anyone else see E. D. on Fox and Friends this morning ask Sen. Bob Grahm why he stated in Oct. 2002 that Iraq was seeking uranium. He mumbled like an old fool. This ain't over yet. Also noteworthy on the 7/15 F&F show is when Amb. Ginsburg "outed" himself as a Democrat and a friend and admirer of Joseph C. Wilson during the 7AM EST hour. It makes you wonder about who's best interestest he has at heart when he's shilling his Middle East "expertise". Everyone knows that Dennis Ross is a 100% Clinton flunky and you can turn on the BS-filter. However, there's so many other under-the-radar Clintoids that don't have the name / face recongition so, some of their "message" is bound to get through as "fact" even on FNC.

Another Louisville slugger to use on the whining third party scumbags trying to blame our president with this DNC created NigerScam.Uranium-Gate is gonna mutate the RATs, they will slowly get sick, start vomiting, lose their hair and then eventually succumb to the effects of radiation poisoning.

This is why I'm watching Fox less and less. There are too many rat/moles on FNC pretending to news people when they are card carrying rats!

"Perhaps two mistakes. I don't believe that W said 'yellowcake' either."Nope, he didn't. It's the press and the leftist nutzos who insist he did.
Did you catch the president's joint press conference with Khofi? I love this part...it's so telling:
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, Dana, one last question.
Q Mr. President, back on the question of Iraq, and that specific line that has been in question --
THE PRESIDENT: Can you cite the line? (Laughter.)
Q I could, if you gave me some time.
In other words, the "journalists" have no clue on the actual wording of the statement they are questioning President Bush about. Nor do they care what he really said. They don't care whether Saddam was trying to build anothe Bomb, either.

Africa has other countries with significant Uranium mining:
===
World Uranium Mining
Nuclear Issues Briefing Paper 41
June 2003
- Over half of the world's production of uranium from mines is in Canada and Australia.
- An increasing proportion is produced by in situ leaching.
- After a decade of falling mine production to 1993, output has generally risen, and the rising trend continued in 2000 and 2001.
Canada produces the largest share of uranium from mines (32% of world supply), followed by Australia (19%).

Your intel about Joseph Wilson's wife being a CIA operative has just been confirmed by Doug Thompson's own private source/spook, the honorable unnamed/undisclosed source of Doug's, the great spook, Terrance J. Wilkerson.

The French connection once again.
Does anyone else remember that it was DeVillein who stood up and broke the "news" that the receipt Colin Powell used as part of this presentation to the SC was a forgery?
If France were really cooperating in the war against terrorism, why pick a public forum with a world stage to make a statement which should have been made in private, diplomatic discussions where intelligence is discussed and cooperation really given...if not as another piece of proof that France is our enemy?
