To: Boot Hill
Solar will certainly never provide all of our energy, but do we just ignore the possiblity of technology improvements in the future? We continue to pursue missile defense, which is even more of a joke than solar power at this point.

Choosing where to put our limited research dollars has always been a challenge. If you try to spread the money over all possibilities, you will get no where. But if I had to choose between, say, solar and fusion, I darn sure wouldn't pick solar.
