The War in Afghanistan simply chased the Taliban into Pakistan, but like most things, the attention span of the people following these things is pretty limited. This next paragraph is classic and sums up the divergents of our two camps; I hope lots of folks get a chance to read it. Refuting Ben Franklin is all well and good, but I generally don't think that a conservative position... "It is false that centralization has proven a failure in defense matters. No if ands or buts completely false. Just as it is false that the WoT was a "disaster" when in fact it has been a great success killing and capturing thousands of enemies. My personal freedoms have not been compromised nor have yours so that is a false statement as well."

Ohhhh, this is the DemoncRATic Party using Saul Alinsky's Rules For Radicals. Here's a few examples w/commentary.
RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)
RULE 8: "Keep the pressure on. Never let up." Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)
RULE 10: "If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive." Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog. (Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management's wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to their side.)
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

Ahhhh, You're thinking--this sounds familiar! That's because these are the tactics Hillary used to smear Starr,Gingrich and everyone else for 8 years,NOW Mr. McAwfuliffe is using them.I just thought you all should know.

Factual BUMP

Yeah, I see the obvious! But you know I was thinking last night about how the DemonRats are dividing this country so BAD! In their interest for political gain, they are causing uncertainty, confusion, and are planting a "conspiracy theory" in everyone's mind about all of the good (or as in their version - bad) this Administration has done. They will create such a smoke bomb, as they did in the Clinton scandal, that most people won't remember the REAL good that the administration HAS done.

Any American should know by now that even though our intelligence is not perfect, it is usually accurate.

Guess what will be coming up next? How far in DEBT this administration has put us. I've noticed the certain news channels have been slipping in lately just how far our debt has risen (I wonder if this figure uses all of the tax cuts we've been given, as a factor?). Now although it is a fact (as it usually is in times of war and recession and the disasters and the social programs the Dems refuse to scale back, etc.), the DemonRats will use it as a sledge hammer the closer we get to election year. AND, if their current ploy is not successful.

BTW...GOD bless Tony Blair for being such a strong supporter in this troubling time. I thought he was awesome in his speech to Congress.
