Kerry then interjected to say that he also spent one night in jail; his spokesman said it was in 1971 when he was protesting the Vietnam War. Just what we need -- an anti-war protestor in the White House (sarcasm)

"In essence, you now have become persona non grata," NAACP President Kweisi Mfume said of the Democrats who passed on the event. "Your political capital is the equivalent of confederate dollars." How mean and nasty can ya get 8-?

I thought it was funny that three of the RATs gave them no respect! I would have been disguested if Pres Bush had given this group any credibility. I am glad to see he gives them "zero" credibility.

But Stanley Thornton, an NAACP member from Miami, said the Democrats have moved so far to the center that sometimes he can't tell them apart from Republicans Is this guy saying the NAACP is far left?

The media is focussing on these comments regarding the missing democrats. They are deliberately NOT reporting the horrible horrible things Julian Bond said about our President and Vice President.

Kwaisi Mfume is full of it. Every one knows the NAACLP is far from being a non-partisan civil right body. They sold their souls to the Democrats and he wonders why they ignore his association. Methinks he should go and look in the mirror.

Yep, I guess that's true. John Edwards and John F. would have to say stuff that would finish them off in the general election. They may be liberals but even they aren't as stupid as Stanley Thornton.

Since when has the media cared about conservatives' feelings?? At least we can stand up for ourselves. I'm not sure about the Democrats.

Three of the Democrats' nine presidential contenders drew the wrath of the president of the NAACP on Monday for skipping the group's candidate forum, reflecting a growing sentiment among blacks that their loyalty to the Democratic Party is being taken for granted.
Coming soon to an SAT near you:
Conservative Christians are to the Republican Party as Blacks are to:
A) The NFL
B) South Africa
C) The Democratic Party
D) The Hughleys

But Kerry pointed out that he was the only senator on the stage who voted to restore the rights to ex-felons in every state. There's a winning platform!
I hope Lurch remembered to tell the black folks that he's a decorated Vietnam war veteran.

I was watching Joe Scarborough's show tonight. The media will never report what Bond said except for a few here and there. Just like they are embargoing any good news out of Iraq.
This is the absolute worst I have ever seen the media -- the vast majority of them are nothing more than an arm of the DNC. The last few days has shown them to be un-American and anti-Military IMHO!

Well I can understand why Lieberman didn't attend. I wouldn't really be expect him to attend rallies by antisemitic organizations.
To: NormsRevenge
During the forum, the candidates were asked if ex-felons who have served their sentences should have their voting rights restored. All candidates expressed support for restoration of voting rightsI'm shocked. Now the rats will be trolling for votes in the prisons.

The media frenzy has been deliberate in an effort to diffuse the success of the historical trip to Africa.
If we don't get some ads out of the RNC we re going to be very sorry. It's time to get on offense................
Condi appears to be a target which tells me the dems are afraid of her.

J.C. was in Africa on the last stop with President Bush, but lack of coverage was telling. They always went after J.C. and now doing it to Condi. Speaks volumes!
