CLINTON’S RECORD BROKEN

George Bush has broken a Clinton record, though not one to be proud of. The Federal Register the publication that lists all proposed and enacted federal regulations increased to 75,606 pages in 2002. That breaks the previous record set by Bill Clinton in 2000.
You need to know that these federal regulations cost businesses (and, ultimately, the consumers) in America more than all business income taxes combined.
During 2002 Congress passed 269 new laws. During the same year regulatory agencies passed 4,167 final rules. Not one of these rules was then subjected to congressional oversight.
Some more things to think about when considering Bushs record in the White House.
Federal government spending under Bush has increased at a rate faster than of any year during the Clintonista era.
George Bush has yet to veto one single spending bill.
George Bush has teamed up with congressional Democrats to pass massive spending increases in education, agriculture and other areas.
George Bush has been in office for almost three years, and has yet to recommend the elimination of one single government-spending program.
And you wonder why I vote libertarian?

W has been a Godsend for the socialists and DNC.
Gore would never have been able to forward the liberal Socialist agenda as well as W has.
The DNC ought to fund (if they arent already) W"s reelection campaign.
They have enjoyed 8 years of Clinton Socialism, 4 years of Ws and with Ws second term another 4!
Then Hillary will be a certain slam dunk two termer herself!
By then even my dog will have free health care!

I guess you haven't noticed that we had a major disaster (the terrorist attack), war (War on Terror, Afghanistan, Iraq) and a recession.
Our defense capability has been cut in half by Clinton and Bush needs to build it back up, Bush inherited a resession from Clinton and we had 9-11. Also Congress is the one who refused to cut programs and continued with the bloated budget. Bush had to set priorities, which were clearly to fight the War on Terror and recession, and accept deficit spending, instead of making things worse by being "penny wise and pound foolish" by getting into a big fight with Congress over the budget, instead of focusing on the important stuff, such as the War on Terror AND the tax cuts, which he did get Congress to pass.

Bush bot one has struck.
Forgets to mention borders not shut down, and we would have 2 million illegal aliens would have be made legitimate, cause people in CA TX and IL don't want to pay min. wage.
Bush has been anything but conservative, he has been playing kiss up to the Kennedy's and the blacks.
His forbearance to his enemies is costing this country more than the venal klintoon.

Nobody but Jesus Christ, or a collapse of the American government, can stop the growth of our government in its current form. What is perposterous is that anybody believes President Bush can control the growth of government. That is almost as absurd as saying he can control the growth of the universe.

I agree with the Kennedy comment but "the blacks"? How has he been "playing kiss up" to "the blacks"? Bush hasn't exactly been a supporter of affirmative action. Besides, if you are referring to "black" Americans he is their president too.

Stating the truth doesn't make one a "bot", more like those using lies and partial truth to attack Bush are effectively "DNC anti-Bush bots".
Glad you brought up illegal immigraion.
Please see my post at:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/946239/posts Bush, GOP hope to put California in play again
"And before someone starts to claim that "Bush didn't do anything about illegal immigration", I want to point out something I saw on FoxNews a day or two ago, which I haven't seen in any articles or on the net:
Today, 80-90% of the illegal immigrants get nabbed at the border, they are using high tech sensors, which the illegals trip and the border guards swarm over there and catch them.
They also made a comparison, that in 1995 80% of the illegal border crossers got through and only 20% were caught.
I would call this a MAJOR improvement. I don't know why this information is not publicized more. I think the Bush administration should point out their successes in this area, it will make a big difference in states like California."

Misspoke about the blacks, had just finished reading about how the The NAACP called the GOP the Klan, and hadn't said anything about the only serving Klansman in the senate.
I apologize for that, but have just about decided I will not vote for the little bush again.
Don't know where I will go, but I have been disgusted with CFR, education increase in spending, patriot act, the no interrogation of intelligence services, failure to take dicsplanry action against those who need it.
I think we are seeing a major wimp factor in domestic politics.

You and others expect Bush to wave a magic wand and solve all the problems created over years and years of liberal policies.
You can't turn the country on a dime. Also Bush had his hands full with trying to prevent terrorist attacks in the US and so far has succeeded admirably, we had two successful wars, two tax cuts. How about giving him some credit?
Who do you think is going to do better? Kerry? If you don't vote for Bush in 2004, you will effectively be voting for his Dem opponent. That is how Clinton got elected: Some conservatives disenchanted with Bush I voted for Perot, splitting the vote, end result: 8 years of Clinton, who cut our military strenght in half.

So why should I care, just read where a state supreme court ruled that a constitution amendment in their consitution didn't mean what it said.
I am going to worry about a nother president saying something he doesn't mean.
Give me a break, at any level of politics about the township level, they are all crooks and only in for the money.
I don't think we haven't had an honest president since bucanahan, 15th president.

hey - my dog needs health care. But your comment on Hillary is, well hiariously off-base. What does that woman stand for I ask you? No - the President will be re-elected because of Iraq (unpopular viewpoint maybe but I stick with it.)

HOW does one "shut down the borders" of a nation this large? How do you shut off the coast-lines? Dream on, the man-power and maintenance of that kind of patrol would be impossible, extremely EXPENSIVE (if by some miracle they could achieve it), and very much against the doctrine of our nation's origins.

How do you put a man on the moon in ten years, how do you build a cross continental railroad, how do you conquer a continent, how do you build an interstate highway system, or and Internet?
Are you telling me we as a nation can do all that and we can't control our own borders, then maybe it is time to abandon these united states?
If the Feds can't do the first thing they are charge with then it is time for each citizen of this country to bend over and kiss his a** good bye, cause we are no longer a sovereign nation.

Today, 80-90% of the illegal immigrants get nabbed at the border, Really? I have a good friend who spends lots of time on the border, doing investigative journalism on border issues, he tells a completely different story. The Border Patrol Agents on the ground back up what he says.
