WBUR "Boston's NPR news source" ^ | July 14, 2003 | Suzanne Bates

BOSTON, MA (2003-07-14) Senator Hillary Clinton calls for answers questions about intelligence and what President Bush knew in the push for war with Iraq last spring. The senator called the controversy surrounding the lead up to war with Iraq a "symptom of a deeper problem," and she says the Bush administration has a "history of stonewalling and failing to disclose, and trying to keep information away from both Congress and the public." And Hillary! knows all about stonewalling...

New York Senator and former First Lady Hilary Rodham Clinton spoke to WBUR as she headed to Boston this morning for a book signing.

If you have "Real Player" on your computer, you can listen to the rest of the report, but this is all they had in print (and pretty sloppily done at that - more government $$ is needed to help edit typos at NPR)

OK, so the CAPS screwup in the "Headline screwup notice" is all mine.

I demand federal funds to help me with my tragic loss of self-esteem due to this most embarassing error.

Uh-huh. While the Grifters took an eight-year vacation from history, a lethal mess piled up (by their design) for whoever followed.

she says the Bush administration has a "history of stonewalling and failing to disclose, and trying to keep information away from both Congress and the public."

Let's take a look at those Hillary Health Care records, shall we? You know, you were an unelected person using tax dollars in secret meetings to develope federal policies? Remember Hillary? We're still waiting for you to hand over those secret records. Oh, you say you don't recall?
Ok then. How about we take a look at the reports that justified the bombing of that nice little asprin factory and killing those innocent people. I'd like to know what grounds your husband used.
BTW, why did he bomb Iraq again?

What a load of crap! Her husband was impeached and she has the audacity to say this administration is stonewalling and being deceitful to the American people. BTW, is there a thread yet on the Boston Freep today. What color crusty do ya think she wore today. It's summer, hope she's going for the pastels.

And anyway, what happened to our nation's intelligence-gathering capabilities during eight years of Beelzebubba? Perhaps Hitlery would like to offer a few comments about THAT? Yes I'm sure the CIA was VERY well-funded back then, and morale never higher.../sarcasm off

Good. The last time there was a "Bush Knew!" controversy it climaxed (well, it did) with hrc holding up the copy of the NY Post in the Senate.

This signifies the beginning of the end of this saga.

"stonewalling and failing to disclose, and trying to keep information away from both Congress and the public"

WhoooHooo! This is classic "projection technique" in action. Here she is blaming the Bush Admin for what she and her husband did for 8 years!!

Gore went to Russia and signed an agreement - AND NEVER INFORMED OR CONSENTED WITH CONGRESS.

Hillary's so-called "Health Care Task Force," whose proceedings were carefully cloaked in darkness, provoked a years'-long lawsuit. Finally, a court had to order the administration to make the task force's documents and true membership public. Those documents revealed what we at Free Republic knew all along, namely, that the members of that task force, making health care policy for the rest of us, had gross conflicts of interest.

Those same documents further exposed Hillary's duplicity with the public, Congress and even administration officials. Their input had never even been considered, for Hillary's plan had already been put in place: A centralized, monopolistic, tightly controlled, "cookie cutter" approach to health care totally out of keeping with a free society.

Hillary Clinton is the last person entitled to accuse anybody of secrecy and deception.

RECALL SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON FOR BREAKING HER OATH OF OFFICE - "TO UPHOLD AND PROTECT THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION" AND MAKING TREASONOUS REMARKS ABROAD. SHE IS UNDERMINING THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC FOR SOCIALISM – HER EGREGIOUS AND MENDACIOUS REMARKS ARE TANTAMOUNT TO TREASON.

What is truly disgusting is the hypocrisy coming from the left on this issue. For 8 year all we had was, "...stonewalling and failing to disclose, and trying to keep information away from both Congress and the public."

This is a classic case of: Accuse the other side of the things people know You do.

For the Clinton years this was standard MO.
