Tulsa - A Tulsa man faces animal cruelty charges after allegedly throwing a puppy into a brick wall after a domestic disturbance.

Police say 18-year-old Joseph Minter was arrested after a witness says he threw the six-week-old puppy against the wall while in a "fit of rage".

The incident happened Saturday. Minter was taken into custody and faces a felony complaint of cruelty to animals. Bond was set at four-thousand dollars.

The dog, who officials say was vomiting blood, was reportedly taken to a veterinarian and is said to be alive.

An abortion is a full-blown murder - it isn't beginners' stuff like hurting defenseless beasts.

There are many serial killers in this country who specialize in abortion and they get paid well for it.

The point isn't the gruesomeness per se - it's the disjunction. People should be asked why they blanch at violence against puppies but not against babies.

If the smart way to spread the message is by throwing a fig leaf over what abortion really is, I don't see how that works. We can either call it what is or acquiesce in the antiseptic terminology of "procedure".

It's a sad comment that a (non fatal) attack to man's best friend drums up no less outrage than to a man. Animals used to be viewed as property, not as little gods. An animal cruelty like this would get the person sent to the looney bin to be treated, not to the schools of crime we sometimes call jail or prison.

You missed the point of his posting. A very young puppy is thrown against the wall and the guy is arrested, and a public outcry is made. On the other hand, if there is an abortion........ nothing...........
It is satire, and very, very very sad irony at the different response to the two situations.
As to it making you uncomfortable.............GOOD! it should! If it is not addressed with graphic detail it is made nice and neat with terms like: "mass of tissue" "products of conception" "Blastocyst" etc, ad nauseum.

With all due respect, there are people who need to learn those disturbing details in order to snap out of the liberal indoctrination.

For example, when I was a college student, I was 100% pro-choice, since for me, the word abortion evoked images of a blood clot being removed from the uterus. It took an abortion film to wake me up out of stupor.

The film I watched was a grainy black/white ultrasound tape of an abortion (20-week-old fetus). The little girl fought a great battle against the vacuum tube, but at the end, she lost. As soon as the vacuum tube was introduced in the uterus, she swam away and pushed herself against the uterine wall farthest from the vacuum tube, changing position as the tube chased her.

As another poster noted, first one leg, then another, then her little arms and her body were caught by the powerful vacuum tube. Eventually, the skull crusher (tongs) was introduced and finished the job.

That abortion film will stay in my mind till the day I die, the same way those Nazi concentration camp pictures will stick to my memory forever.

The first thing I did after watching the abortion film was to check the local yellow pages to see if those abortions were performed in my area. To my bewilderment, abortion clinics were advertising abortions for pregnancies up to 24 weeks!

I work in a hospital and have stopped many abortions but not with your hateful tactics. Your just adding fuel to the fire

How is it that you call me a hatemonger?? Because I speak the truth? Did I advocate counseling a woman contemplating abortion with those words?? NO, You just assumed that was my intent.
My objection to your original post was that you seem to find the truth... distasteful... I am not asking you to use those words.
I will say that when I was younger, I was pro-abortion. Why? Because I did not understand the HORROR of abortion and what it did to a human being.
If we cannot move the debate to the reality of what abortion does and who it is done too, we will NEVER convince the fence-sitters. Barring a personal experience with the Prince of Peace, the diehard liberals are not going to change their stance. Do you know why a partial-birth abortion ban has support in this evenly divide country?
Because the DETAILS were revealed to the public. That outraged even the center-left. Faced with the HORROR of that gruesome procedure, the only rational response was to come out against it.
