Unfortunately, the opening sentence sounds almost like an "apology" to the anti-American left.

There is NO debate among American citizens as to English being the Official Language. The ONLY debate is Americans vs left-wing radical extremists that call themselves Progressive Democrats.

His opening line should have reflected both the feeling the American Citizen has and WHO is fighting this! Time for America to go on the OFFENSIVE against our enemies.
