I dont know what to say, maybe Im naive. But I have to tell you Im absolutley floored that anyone would do ANYTHING that offers the remote chance of President Hillary. Nah you are not naive, but sensible, those who are saying that they don't care about the consequences of a Hillary Presidency are, IMO, either covert Hillary supporters on FR, uncurable malcontnets, or masochists who gain pleasure being in pain.

"With all the leftist crap he's been pedalling, if he keeps pushing that Assault Weapon Ban I'm actively supporting either Libertarian or the Conservative Parties."
Which faction of Libertarian are you attracted to?
Is it the Harry Browne faction, advocating appeasement of muslim terrorists, so they won't hurt us any more?
Or is it the drug legalization faction?
Or maybe the open borders faction?
Perhaps homosexuality acceptance faction?
Just curious, since the Conservative party which you also mention is probably opposite on each point.
You don't like some of the things Bush has allowed, so you drag out your shotgun, fire wildly in the air, and take anything which falls from the sky (libertarian or conservative parties).

It is inconceivable to me. "President Hillary hates the military and intelligence services. But what the hell we showed Bush!"
That kind of thinking will hasten the appearance of the Fourth Reich. Or US troops being controlled by the UN or something equally horrifc. But hey, we showed Bush!

Ron Paul found a way to effect change in the Republican party...from within. And as someone so very well pointed out (which I will never admit to them), he remains a big R little l politican.
People want to make change, then work to get politicians of their strip elected to Congress. Give Ron Paul ten associates, within the Republican Party and he will have the power to effect real changes.
Stand on the sidelines all day and call the President a socialist and you are only doing the work of the otherside...perhaps intentionally.

Amnesty for illegals may push me over the top for a third party.Aye. I see the wisdom of waiting until next term to deal with this issue, but if the GOP allows or endorses this plan, then I know they will ONLY be concerning themselves with buying votes, and that just don't fly with me.

Why would anyone think that a woman who would steal and use FBI files wouldn't stoop to having people impersonate conservatives and try to surpress conservative voter turn out from within?
Either some people are working for her, or other elements of the DNC directly, or through their to own narrow view they are doing her bidding free.
To: justshe
Ronald Reagan was a failed Democrat who was able to bash the GOP upside their pointy little heads and actually get them to do the right thing.
We will not see his like from the Republican party again, IMHO.

And as someone so very well pointed out (which I will never admit to them):-)

Then I will wait for you to post a gif or jpeg of Ronald Reagan tarred and feathered.

Here is the thing I am amazed that all of these "conservatives" don't see:
ELECT A DEMOCRAT AND THEY CONTROL THE MILITARY, FOREIGN POLICY, CABINET APPOINTMENTS, AMBASSADORS, AND JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS.
Have people forgotten that a democrat president will draw from the frightening panoply of democrat talent? Does anyone know who Gore was going to appoint as ambassador to Great Britain? TERRY MCAULIFFE!
Have people forgotten Les Aspin and Somalia, Janet Reno and Waco, Madeline Albright and North Korea? This to me is the strongest argument that we are being infiltrated by DU; no one with any sense would trade Sandy Berger for Condi Rice, or some VP like HOWARD DEAN for Dick Cheney!
I am glad to see you taking this issue head-on, CWOJackson, because I think you are exactly right.

"I suspect many of the Bush haters are pining patsters."
You are clueless. That, more than anything else, is going to cost the Republican Party the Presidency.
To: Miss Marple
The proper way to get the President's attention on an issue with which you disagree is to write the White House, stating your position politely and rationally. You should also call your Congressman and Senators, letting them know your position on that issue. Your kidding? I write my Congressman and Senators all the time. I highly doubt Murray and Cantwell are going to help me with my issues. Write the WH you say! LOL! The POTUS is not going to change positions on the AWB or CFR or Socialized medicine because I write a letter, the proof being I have.
I am published once a month in the local paper's letters and I have worked on multiple campaigns. I contact the local news and write to editors, columnist and radio personalities from local markets to national markets to oversees publications. I call into programs and I talk to everyone I can.
The only way to get attention is through money, votes and/or protests/riots. The minorities, AntiWar freaks and LA LA LAnd bozos have two of those locked up.....

LOL. Actually, you just reminded me to get his Monday column from the House website to post. I don't know if you're going to be so complimentary towards Paul after reading it. ;-)

You know what else? By all accounts, Hillary is involved with death of a senior White House counsel. FR posters, my self included, have hammered this fact to no avail. I truly believe that she at least was invloved in the ensuing cover-up. She was also behind the firing and prosecution of Billy Dale. But hey, electing her will surley show Bush!
I havent ever been this mad about any issue on FR..
