So Chandler and Fletcher are going to link each other to other politicans. This is nothing new in KY politics. In the 1995 Governor's race, Paul Patton linked his GOP opponent to Newt, while the Pubbie tied Patton to Clinton. Paul Patton narrowly won the race. In his acceptance speech, Paul Patton stated that KY voters have rejected the "extremist policies" of Newt Gingrich.
Today in 2003, if the RATS try to play the linkage game, they will lose big time. Bush is enormously popular in KY.

He also decided to use profanity in that speech--he first speech as governor-elect. Such class that was a prelude to his tenure as governor.
