I have this nightmare where I "lose artistic rigths" to the movie version, and Hollywood "improves" it.

In the Hollywood version, Jimmy Shifflett really is an evil white racist militia gun nut, and the heroic special ATF unit saves the day.

Matt, I wouldn't worry about bookstores not having you for signings. Just drum up interest locally and get a few hundred friends to show up!

Bookstores are in for the money. Heck, I'm up here in liberal la la land (near Albany NY) and there was a great crowd for Wayne LaPierre's newest at a bookstore that would be expected to have liberal lads and lassies puking in the parking lot at such an event.
