The rose is Leonidas. In cooler climates, the color is burned sienna. During Florida summers, it is the brilliant orange with cream/yellow reverse in the photo. It is a florist's rose, marketed as "the man's rose." It is apparently the most popular rose for a boutonniere. It is one of my absolute favorites of about 40 rose shrubs.
