Today's Gospel seemed to have some relevance to the plans of our administration: -
(I hope you don't think I am being facetious - So many Catholics, especially clergy, seem to have decided to act like Quakers, that I am taking this passage as a message that cleaning up the Middle East is a good thing!)

Interesting also, that ONE time when Jesus sent them out, He told them not to take money (which means all the other times they took wads of cash) and not to take swords. Uh oh. I guess the disciples were packin' all the other times.
