Anny, I promise I'm not picking on you.
You have made statements that I've seen on this forum many times from well meaning, but naive, people.
When you travel the so-called Third World countries, you learn to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to the cries for help.
The amount of help needed is beyond you, me and America.
The problem in Africa is over-population, and we CAN NOT fix that with ANY amount of money!
I know you are not picking on me.
I am well aware of the workings of Third World countries. While I have never been to Africa, I have known friends who lived and worked there and you are correct about the corruption.
I am not naive about the situation, but I think "hands off" is wrong.
