I don't understand what is gained by putting it in Aramaic and Latin. Actors can remember phonetic pronunciation but it doesn't compare to inflecting syllables and breaking words in two and other techniques that come naturally when you're acting in your own language.

It's one thing to do it for a couple minutes in LotR, another to fill a movie with it. I know, I know, the images will be more important than the words, but reading subtitles can be distracting too.

And please, the nails go through the WRISTS!! Man, that bothers me.

No problem. Think of it as when you were little and your dad gave you "that" look. You knew what he was saying and you sure didnt need subtitles. That is what Mel is trying to do here. The graphics tell the story, it is beyond language. IMHO
