you have probably seen this a thousand times but anything with daviz fading away is good in my book.

It's against "a political class horribly disconnected from the rest of California," Yes it is. And that includes the California Republican Party leaders whose agenda is something other than defeating the Democrats.
To: Jeff Gordon
Quick, someone please post the Gray Davis Milk Carton jpeg.
Be Seeing You,
Chris

A populist crusade could do for Republicans what they couldn't do for themselves. The question is, once the Republicans are helped, will they do any good for the populists.
The Repubicans ran from Simon. They ran from Quayle, they ran from the California recall drive. Now they benefit from it? You need fortitude, strength of conviction to take a ball and run with it. Is it there? We do have the Republicans unified front on the budget as an ecouraging sign, but I not yet convinced.

Due to the arrogant behavior of the Admin Moderator, I have just terminated my financial support for FR.
I often have similar feelings about the Republican National Committee.

This year, he < illegally >tripled the car registration tax by gubernatorial decree, adding roughly $150 to the average Californian's tax bill.
Yep, I'll go from about $470 for my cars to over $1400.
Of course, my biggest concern is how throwing Davis out will affect President Bush's chances here in 2004. Of course.

This is just wrong:
"In his first two years as governor, spending rose 37 percent"

"It confirmed Davis's unsavory reputation as a politician who relies heavily on negative attacks--he once likened Democratic senator Dianne Feinstein to Leona Helmsley--"
now that is ouchie.

Wowowow!!! You're incredibly talented..and I thank you!

Did you (or anyone) hear the tape of Davis all the talk shows were playing this morning? Davis was saying something about driving the stake through the heart of the recall and KILLING it.
He sounded certifiably gone.

deeper fiscal hole
partisan political chaos
a revolutionary threat
a total threat, to the stability of all government
the dysfunction" of state government
reckless
outrageous
can't tolerate the chaos
Oh I don't know. Does this sound like government fearing the people? Somehow I think that's a good idea. Our founding fathers meant for it to be that way. It SHOULD be that way.

Appeal to a Judge I suppose!
