At the time I was stunned, but the articles weren't exactly mountain-movers, so I forgot about them. Their significance today, I think, lies more in whether they demonstrate a pattern of apparently non-existent people being quoted by name in Capitol Hill Blue. I certainly didn't check every article since. What if we found 20 or 30 of these?
I wish I could find those articles; I don't know how to locate them anymore. My recollection is that these were not "man on the street" type people. These were folks who, if they had the titles attributed to them, couldn't have gotten where they are without leaving tracks somewhere.
