I fail to see what people object to in this statement.

Had we followed this advice in 1997-2001, 9/11 would not have happened. Now, we need to follow this advice so we can achieve VICTORY.

Why do the paleo-cons and the loony left fear victory? Why do they fear the removal of regimes hostile to this country? Why do they fear promoting the cause of political and economic freedom abroad?

The answers to these questions might be enlightening.

And the very fact that you fail to see what a conservative should object to in this statement is what is frightening. The 'conservative' party doesn't care about the end result as long as it is in power. They cite the name of Reagan, as if it is supposed to wash over all possible Constitutional issues that could possibly arise over 'world leadership'. I guess it has to be remembered we're doing it for the children....

Because they refuse to distinguish right from wrong. They want to respect the rights of those who don't respect the rights of others. They want freedom for the enemies of freedom.

There are three kinds of people: those who are irrational and evil; those who mean well but are irrational; and people like you and me. Dr. Paul falls in the second category.
