Then again I'm a little leary of 20kV. Does a B&W television scare you?
It contains a "high voltage transformer" that generates 20kV.
The high voltage is what creates the "electron beam" in the television tube, and excites the phosphors on the screen, creating the tv image.
Color television high voltage transformers operate at about 35kV.
A little caution is necessary, and of course, some basic electronics training should be considered, but remember, it's not the voltage you should be concerned about, it's the amperage (current) that kills you.

I'm still fascinated by "rectified centrifuge" literature.

It's some kind of conjectured gyroscope like device able to direct centrifugal force in one direction.

New Agers like this stuff. Must be partway to becoming pure spirit beings.
