did you do that from memory, or did you cheat?

To tell the truth, I remembered the names, but not which office went with what (I remembered Simon, McPherson, Ackerman, and McClintock, but that was it).

My point was simply that if political addicts like us can't, the average California voter has no chance of it.

Did I use other means or did my mind do all the work? I don't Recall. ;-P

Actually I remembered Conlon but Oberg slipped thru.

However, I don't agree with your offering.

This is not an average election , by any means. Motivated folks will be going in the booth. I think names like McClintock will register as his race took quite a few days to be decided. Simon may be another case. Altho, at least Simon's name is being mentioned now as 1 of the Fantastic Four candidates; Issa, Rairdon, Simon and the Incredible Hunk .. errrr ... Arnold.

Riordan and Arnold are an either/or. They will never appear on the same ballot, they're too close of friends for that.

FYI: In the interest of sustaining credibility:

The consolidated civil case was Pacific Coin Management v. BR Telephony Partners, Los Angeles Superior Court #BC242432. (It includes cross-complaints #BC 241982 and #243969).

This case is very large, but can be read by any member of the public in the "Records Room" on the 1st Floor of the Stanley Mosk Courthouse at 111 Hill Street in Downtown Los Angeles during working hours (phone 213-974-5181, @830am-4pm). As parking is either limited or expensive, I suggest using the Metro "Red Line" Subway, which has a station directly across the street. Also, bring your valid photo I.D. Copies are 57 cents per page.

In Volume 6 of this case, is documentation of the role of Security firm Scherzer & Co. of Woodland Hills (www.scherzer.com), which performed the background check on Pacific Coin executive (and formwe narcotics trafficker) Edward Hindelang AFTER Simon and Sons invested over $23 Million with his firm. Timeline: Simon and Sons announced finalization of the deal on February 11, 1998 (per Business Wire), but authorized the background check in March 1998, and the fax of the final report was sent September 12, 1998.

Only when Simon openly admits his mistake (instead of blaming others), will I re-consider his character as worth of the Governorship of California!
