I'm trying to do a little "transactional analysis" here. I think that Ann Coulter wanted to write a book that "exposed" liberals as the catspaws of America's enemies. I believe that she wanted to distinguish her book from books on the same general subject (e.g. "Useful Idiots"; "Radical Son"), and she wanted a snappy, one word title to remind readers of her best seller, "Slander". But why did she have to throw the "T" word around? No, I don't believe that JFK was a traitor, and I don't believe that the DNC was being run by the Politburo. And why, in the name of all that's Holy, did she have to defend a loud-mouthed alcoholic like McCarthy?

Because for all his personal flaws, he was dead on correct.

"Though McCarthy is sniffed at even by conservatives for his flamboyant rhetoric, in 'Witness', Chambers explains the importance of a fellow such as McCarthy. Referring to the Hiss hearings, Chambers writes that theatrics were 'almost the only weapon the commitee possessed.' Without a 'flair for showmanship,' the committee's extremely important work exposing the Communist conspiracy would have been smothered in silence and reduced to nullity."
Whittaker Chambers, as quoted in "Treason"

No, I don't believe that JFK was a traitor, and I don't believe that the DNC was being run by the Politburo. Does she call JFK a traitor? Does she claim that the DNC was run by the Politburo? I have not read the book, but I have a feeling that neither of these claims are made.

JFK may not have been a traitor, per se, but he wasn't the knight in shining armor he is supposed to have been, either. Along with the bay of pigs debacle, he didn't back the USSR down in the Cuban crisis, he traded US missles in Turkey for Soviet missles in Cuba. Additionally, he WAS a liberal, and the point is that liberals are defenders of communism, haters of truth and, ultimately haters of America.
Based on your remarks, it is easy to assume you are one of "them". You apparently "don't believe" documented facts, after all.
