My best friend in my entire life earned my undying respect on the day we first met at Camp Roberts, California. He put his unit into an area we were specifically told to avoid and got it stuck in the mud. I asked him why he did it and he said, "I screwed up!" At that point I realized that here was a man who I could trust and depend on.
