You do realize that no one can ever trust you again? You lied (as you have essentially admitted) when you claimed that the Bush Administration admitted to lying, and now you admit that your source was a liar whose story you printed without sufficient fact-checking--presumably becaue it backed up your own desire to believe the worst of the Administration. The fact that you have admitted it now (once you got caught), when this should never have happened in the first place, is meaningless.
I know a lot of people are telling you what a great guy you are for apologizing; I simply don't agree. You are an utterly untrustworthy person.
And I'm not trusting him because:
He's already messed around in his database ...
He's already under his attorney's care ...
He can't find confirmation for a 20-year stretch ...
I think this episode is huge beyond belief ...
