(IsraelNN.com) Adi Mintz, the Director General of the Judea, Samaria and Gaza (Yesha) Council has released an open letter sent today to US Middle East envoy John Wolfe regarding the outposts and other Yesha communities.
The full text of the letter is as follows:

Mr. John Wolfe Representative, U.S. Government
Dear Mr. Wolfe,
I wish to bring to your attention that the demands made by your government to evacuate "outpost communities" in Judea, Samaria and Gaza (Yesha) are unjustified, immoral and detrimental to the war against terror.
The State of Israel legally inhabits Yesha. Communities founded in Yesha were established according to international law. We have legal documentation proving their international legitimacy.
The communities, as well as the "outpost communities" in Yesha were established on State-owned land or on land purchased from Arabs. They are essential to the peace and security of Israel in general and to the settlements in Yesha in particular. Therefore, your demands to damage these "outpost communities" are unjustified.
In addition, your demands are also immoral. The return of the Jewish people to its Land, to the land of the Bible after 2,000 years, and following the European holocaust which decimated one third of the Jewish people, has no significance without a strong Jewish presence in the heart of our Land, areas in Yesha which include places like Hebron and Shilo, where our holy ancestors lived and walked.
Finally, your demands harm the war against terror being waged by the United States together with Israel. Every evacuation from an "outpost community" is interpreted as a prize and is encouragement to the murderous terror war being waged by the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad against Israel for the past three years.
