Actor Pleads No Contest to Porn Charge

LOS ANGELES - Actor Jeffrey Jones (news), who played the high school principal in the 1980s comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," pleaded no contest Tuesday to a felony charge of employing a 14-year-old boy to pose for sexually explicit photos.

Jones was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to register as a sex offender and undergo counseling.

A misdemeanor charge of possession or control of child pornography was dropped.

"I'm sorry that this incident was allowed to occur. Such an event has never happened before and it will never happen again," Jones said outside court. The 56-year-old actor also appeared in the films "Beetlejuice" and "Sleepy Hollow" and was Emperor Joseph II in 1984's "Amadeus."

Jones had been free on $20,000 bond. He was arrested Nov. 14 after a 12-month investigation that also resulted in the arrest of actor Paul Reubens (news), who is best known for the character Pee-wee Herman.

Reubens, 50, who is free on $20,000 bail, has pleaded innocent to one misdemeanor count of possessing material depicting children under 18 engaging in sexual conduct.

The charge, which carries a maximum penalty of a year in jail and a $2,500 fine, resulted from a search of Reubens' home in November 2001. Police seized his art collection and personal computers.

Will he be one of the democrats talking about Auhnolds true self?

The Schwarzeneggar's personal lives are about as sordid as those of the Clinton's. That eruption would only require the right bust of a Hollywood madame (or monsieur) to broadside any campaign of Arnold's.

The only thing that might give the Democrats pause would be Schwarzeneggar's proximity to a Kennedy, and the risk of collateral damage to her.

Whatever . . . it still sounds like supposition.

It's amazing that as much as he is in the news (most recently pushing a proposition for after school care) nothing of substance gets reported. Look, I'm not an Auhnold defender . . . but it seems to me that if Cong. David Dryer (Chrmn. of House Ways Commt.) has already met with Schwarzeneggar and is prepared to endorse him . . . that speaks volumes. Further, did you know that Gov. Pete Wilson's previous chief of staff (sorry the name escapes me) is prepared to put together a Schwarzeneggar Administration? Tough fiscal conservatives that will search and destroy these wasteful state expenditures and spare us an enormous tax burden. I'm afraid I can't address Auhnold's past as it has never been but a "rumor mill" and until it becomes more than that . . . he has the best chance of kicking Davis' a$$ out of office.

Do you have anything factual about Auhnold or is all conjecture?

Dreier's a RINO. Soft on Illegals. I'm not impressed.

Arnold's claim to governmental fame so far is his tax and spend after-school initiative. He's a big government guy.

I'm not convinced he'll be a manipulable puppet of tough fiscal conservatives.

The interface between Hollywood and whoremongering is huge. I've got a few independent sources who've correctly called, in advance, revelations about several of the major prostitution scandals here in the last 10 years. They've each painted a picture of of Arnold's escapades (and Maria's) that is consistent, convincing, and repulsive.

Go ahead, vote for him. I won't.

Five years probation. Sheesh, even Gary Glitter served jail time and now is essentially in exile. Is child porn a more serious charge in Britain than in America?

Gotta hand it to the Red Chinese, even though dictators, anyone caught under their regime conducting such a faggot crime against young boys would have been eliminated at once in public, with a sign of shame around their neck, with a single pistol shot to the head, their corpse dumped in some dank roadway, and the deceased's family sent the bill for the ammunition.

My brother wanted to be an actor, actually made some money at it. He quit and went to work as a software engineer, after going back to school for awhile.

Actors in his opinion are the most screwed up people in the world, his best quote is, "I know why they were outcasts in the Bards time!"

Supposition . . . following this logic Bush is a RINO.(Sorry for the misspell . . . sheeesh!)

Arnold's claim to governmental fame so far is his tax and spend after-school initiative. He's a big government guy.

Supposition . . . one initiative that would save the state more money in keeping kids off the streets and out of trouble doesn't constitute a big government guy.

Supposition . . . never reported/written in any concrete verifiable medium (unless I missed it).

Go ahead, vote for him. I won't.

Probably fact.

Again, if he's the only means for getting rid of Davis, I can't imagine things getting worse. Would you and I even be debating Arnold if we first were not trying to get rid of Davis? You do want to recall Davis . . . don't you? Or is that supposition?

In many ways, including Illegals, RINO is synonymous with compassionate cnservative.

Supposition . . . one initiative that would save the state more money in keeping kids off the streets and out of trouble doesn't constitute a big government guy.

Incorrect. It's a small sample, but it's all we have, and the government is bigger and more expensive because Arnold.

Hey, if you only want to believe what's written, fine by me.

I'll vote to recall Davis. I won't vote for anyone with even the taint of a RINO annointing.

You're a good man . . . enjoyed the exchange. Let's hope for an October 1 ballot initiative and dump Davis.

Hasta la vista! ;^)

I enjoyed it as well. Regarding your comment...

"if he's the only means for getting rid of Davis,"

This can't be true. The recall is a straight up or down vote on Davis, no one is running against him.

Any gubernatorial candidates to replace him are running against each other in a contingency election that will be decided by a plurality, should Davis lose the recall.

Agreed, when you consider the letter of the law. But consider this, if two of more Republicans (RINOs included) are certified to be listed as candidates it would split the Republican vote. This is significant and here's why. Despite recent vows not to run on the Democratic ticket (Feinstein, et al), if polls show that Davis could be recalled, the Calif. Democratic Party WILL NOT allow a Republican to waltz in. Logic dictates that they will put up a viable candidate. They simply will not concede the govenorship that easily. As much as I like McClintock and "perhaps" Issa they don't have the name recognition of a Feinstein. Well, who does? I'll stop there.

BTW, I think one of our servers is locked up. . . hense, the double postings.

I won't vote for Issa, he's soft on terror. Won't vote for Arnold. Considering McClintock, don't know much about him, but have heard good things. I've heard Pete Wilson's name floated on this, as well as to run against Boxer. I'd vote for him.

If Davis gets recalled, a Feinstein win is just a door prize for the Dems, and they'd have to fight amongst themselves for her to claim it. Either way, recalling the third highest elected executive office in the land would have a salutory effect on politicians of both parties, who refuse to heed the will of the people they misrepresent.

An angry electorate is an awesome thing.

FYI, I just heard Bob Mulholland on the Hugh Hewitt Show this afternoon, dropping very heavy-handed hints about Schwarzeneggar. He basically said that the Dems aren't concerned about Arnold, because of the skeletons in his Hollywood closet.

He tossed off a rumor about Armold groping some female British journalist, and hinted that he had plenty of other material.

I listened to the same interview bro!

"President Bush ordered Gen. Tommy Franks to say 'bring it on' in order to cover his horrible quote."

"The Guardian is a reputable newspaper not a tabloid"

"Darryl Issa made his millions from being an arsonist and car thief"

Yup, ol demensia Mulholland's got the goods on Arnold. But remember we're going to dump Davis first!

Mullholland is a smear artist extraordinaire, and was definitely flinging it today. Unfortunately, even though most of the other stuff is junk, the dirt on Arnold is all around.

I'm not going to vote for a time-bomb.
