It was what it was and nobody could deny it. But for some reason, people still pay Ann Coulter to go on the air and are able to say with a straight face that it's part of the fair play of ideas. A genuine standard of community decency should object to her claims of treason as strongly as it does to lap dancing....

So when people stop buying Dixie Chicks records and a Bull Durham screening is cancelled it's a "chill wind blowing". But it's fine for liberals to demand Ann Coulter be banned for claiming treason on the part of liberals.

Of course anyone called a traitor by Ann could always take her to court for slander and libel. But then they would have to prove they aren't.

Horrible LA Times article wasn't it? If one didn't know, a person would think Ann Coulter bashes gays and does not lay out a factual case for her position. Every liberal in the country is going to be quoting those articles by Horowitz, Rabinowitz and Sullivan attacking Coulter.

Sure she expected this though. Bet Kristol is the next to take her on.
