Looks like he was speaking in a kind of New York City subjunctive mood. You'd think MSNBC and ADL's lawyers would know what that means.

I've never heard this guy ~ is he supposed to be some kind of cult favorite, or what?

Never listened to him myself honestly. I like Glen Beck, and I actually have spent a lot of time listening to Fred Anderle on npr locally here (been years since I called into his show and argued with him though, he is a pretty decent fellow for a liberal).

He's an over the top, pull no punches, tells it like he sees it radio talk show host. He's entertaining to listen to, especially when he works himself up into a yelling, screaming lather.
