On the CBS Evening News a bit ago, reporter David Martin broke an exclusive that the Iraqi leader who may have met with Mohamed Atta in Prague prior to his terrorist attack on 9/11 has been caught. It will be interesting to see if he says anything.

Evidence often is uncertain.

There's no reason the "other side" is involved in disinformation just because you credit one particular view.

Yes there is. The "other side" has taken the position that the Iraq/Atta connection has been debunked when that has never been the case.

I am not saying it has been proven----nobody is saying it has.

But it has not been debunked.

And when one "side" takes the evidence at hand and presents it as having been conclusively resolved as untrue, that IS disinformation.

Hence saying he was said to have met or that it was "alleged."

But it certainly has not been disproven.

This story was debunked months ago. Atta was in the US at the time he was supposed to be meeting the guy in Prague.

The FBI has his hotel and car rental receipts.

Did you read the MSNBC link? This stuff is not new and has been thoroughly de-bunked by the Feebies as well as by the Czechs. I can't help it if the media don't do their job and check this stuff before they start re-hashing old stuff.

You better double check that. I've seen stories that debunk the debunking. Czech officials have come out to say they were mistaken about being mistaken about reporting that Atta was in prague.

The liberals are neglecting to report that both the Czech Foreign Minister and Czech Prime minister reported there were TWO meetings in Prague. The first meeting was in June 2000 and the 2nd one supposedly in April 2001, but that second date is questionable. No one has attempted to debunk the first meeting date, only the 2nd.
