Another character assassination that I've never gotten over is Richard Nixon. He did not do anything wrong. Never did, no way. His aids cooked up that deal. President Nixon was a good president and did not deserve the attacks on him. clinton did deserve impeachment.

The lefties went after Nixon, because he ran against Helen Gahagan Brown, in California and beat her. During that campaign, he had flyers printed on PINK paper ( Helen , a sort of movie star, married to melvin Douglas ), because she WAS a fellow traveller. Then, Nixon was on the cpmmittee, in D.C., that went after Commies. Nixon, FYI, was never impeached.
