The sensitive Republicans in this forum who don't have the guts for political language are the ones who have handed this party defeat after defeat.
When liberals call you racists, sexists, homophobes, you run for cover and immediately hang your bretheren out to dry. You can't wait to show your moral superiority; you love being able flaunt your so-called moderation.
You're cowards and moral opportunists. You people don't have the guts to win the political war. People like Savage and Coulter do.

What Savage said was a little over the top. But just a little.
Would he be more acceptable if he talked about who he golfed with last weekend and which important person he is sharing a dinner table with tonight? Yaaaawn.

Someone needs to learn that just because we have a right to say anything we want doesn't mean we aren't still responsible for what we say and shouldn't use good judgment before we open our mouths. Bingo. Didn't we generally agree about this when the Dixie Chicks took the heat for their statements?

I don't buy it. How does he not know he's on air? Agree. You must ALWAYS assume that you're on the air or being taped. I mean, look at the market for unauthorized out-takes. From the time the crew mans the sound board and the cameras, you must assume everyone in America is watching and listening.

Tuesday Ping!

118??? LOL! I have been corresponding with a FReeper who lives near Seattle. She was telling me it was 54 (I think she said) in the morning! They think that 90 is unbearable, and that only happens a couple of times a year!!
She invited me and my dog to visit her in late August ... Ya think I'd miss much "coolth" around here if I go? ;-)

Helloo Infidels, savage kick their damn asses. We are with you
To: All
Is Savage mad enough? I Say No! Hell No. We need a guy like this to burn their asses, There all afraid of the FIRE. I hope Savage burns them all down. God Bless Savage.

I'm just sitting back enjoying the hell out of today's show.
Perfect escapism.
From politics to the literary world.
His literary commentary today has me flying high between my ears. This is like a whole different show right now and it proves that Mike can entertain without doing straight political talk.
Today's show is a gem and one for the ages. Thank you, Savage!
I hope the rest of you are hearing this and not missing it: Huxley, Orwell, Henry Miller, Hemingway, Bolsheviks, Trotskyites, conservative capitulation, anger management, sensitivity training...
Today's show is far out. I'm in heaven right now.

I'm still reeling from yesterday's thoughtful show.
Savage had me feeling enlightened.

I don't know how Savage continues to move forward in the face of a wave of animosity.
How does he tune out all the negativity? How does he not allow it to bother him?
