Morton Downey Jr.'s type of tv talk was replaced with Jenny Jones, Ricki Lake, and the liberal top dog of the format Jerry Jerry Jerry Springer.

Those "town hall" shows have a mob mentality. The crowd can be played.

Rush Limbaugh's tv show didn't have that kind of a studio audience.

And I would say that neither does Micheal Savage. Your points about regular day time television audiences is right on target.
