Publicity for him is also publicity for Fox News. Fox will never get many liberals in it's audience. But it stands a good chance of getting all of the conservatives (which is about 80 percent of everybody that watches cable news programs).

How many conservatives don't already know about Fox News? Fox doesn't need this kind of publicity, it's got an excellent reputation, and legal bullying of the little guy is not something that conservatives in general find to be attractive.

"Publicity for him is also publicity for Fox News. Fox will never get many liberals in it's audience."I was just in D.C. on business. I'm putting together a proposal on some work at NDW (Navy Dept.Washington aka the Navy Yard). Anyhow, I stayed at the Capitol Hill Suites and right around the corner was a strip of bars where all the interns and Capitol Hillers watered down afterwork. Judging from the conversations I could eavesdrop on, the majority of them were liberally slanted. So that's why I was surprised to see that, of the 6 TVs in the place, 2 were on ESPN and the other 4 were all on FOX News. Everyone seemed to congregate around the 4 FOX TVs. It was odd, but I realized then that politics in Washington really IS a sport.

Fox will never get many liberals in it's audience. But they are quietly making inroads. My husband, a liberal, complained the other day while we were watching MSNBC that they referred to "suicide bombers" instead of "homicide bombers" which they really are. I just reminded him that we were not watching Fox. Eventually, he'll get the picture. If he can, so can others.
