They pull that here in RI all the time. When we find out they are planning to do something criminal and show up in strength, they cancel the meeting, hoping to sneak it in some time later when no one's looking.

Hearing canceled at the request of author.We need to keep an eye on these treacherous snakes. I saw on another site (could have been Cal. Rifle and Pistol Assoc., I don't remember) that the bill isn't dead, and that it could come up for another hearing as early as tomorrow.
