Interesting info. I hadn't heard about State's witholding of the Korean nuke info, or the de facto tenure granted Foreign Service officers, prior to reading this.
I'm really in the dark about the whole culture and history of the State Dept. Can anyone recommend a good book on the subject?
The State Dept. has also fought alternative energy
researchers in the USA. The State Dept's Peter Zimmerman
[now with the Democrat's Presidential candidates']
routinely attacks any US researcher that might replace oil.
CONCLUSION : the State Dept is not loyal to the USA.
