Yes to ALL you've written. And, I don't think that Dorothy is a Conservative . I wish that someone could find out, definatively , what she is. Her championiong ( if that's what they think an interview with Juanita is ) does NOT make one a Conservative . Neither does it make one a Conservative, to be a writer of op-ed pieces for the WSJ ! I've already given Hunt as a prima facia example.

Many label themselves "centrists" and/or "moderates" to gain entre and exposure.
O'Connor was supposed to be a "swing vote" republican "centrist".
Many Democrats (Clinton-1992-DLC) call themselves "centrists" but we find out (we already knew) they were really radical liberals.
Fearing the "tag" of "liberal", they rename themselves as "progressives" now.
Early in the last century "progressive" meant "American Socialists" or "International Socialists".
Now that we find O'Connor agreeing on TV with the radical lefties of SCOTUS that the US Constitution is a "living" and "flexible" document that the "framers never intended to be followed but continuely updated by the courts" we see what labels truly mean.
An executive order can be reversed or overturned bt SCOTUS or Congress; Congress can change the law.
Yet SCOTUS decisions last forever; witness "Roe" and the 1938 Gun Control Act.
The courts now act as chief executive and also as legistlature with no balance of power to control them or reverse their decisions save a Constitutional Ammendment.
Don't hold your breath waiting for the next one!
