JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The Israeli cabinet set tough terms on Sunday for the release of Palestinian prisoners in a move that could rattle a cease-fire declared by militants and the U.S.-backed peace plan the truce has bolstered.
"There is no way prisoners with blood on their hands will be released," Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told his cabinet as he read from a list of terms it approved by a vote of 13-8, a senior government official said.

Clinton was 100 times worse than GWBush when it comes to pressuring Israel to do destructive things to show good faith to the Paleostinians
Can you specifically state anything that Clinton did that was worse than the road map? Be specific. Bush is actually a combination of Clinton and Jimmy Carter.

"We demand the liberation of all the detainees and in particular those from Hamas and we are not prepared to accept discrimination in this regard," senior Hamas official Ismail Hanyeh told AFP. 'Nuff said.
Time to go back to wasting HAMAS leaders and members. That got their attention last time... I bet it'll work again.

Have those liberals seen enough yet? This includes GW and the Road Map to hell! [President Bush]:"In order for there to be peace, Hamas must be dismantled".

Can you specifically state anything that Clinton did that was worse than the road map? Be specific.Clinton and his crew put constant pressure on Israel, Shimon Peres, Netanyahu, Ehud Barak to cave in while Arafat and Hamas colluded on terrorism. They made terrorism to get Israel to cave in, in general and cave in at the negotiating table. There were many prisoner releases made under Bill Clinton's pressure. There were many times Israel made no response to Muslim terror under Bill Clinton's pressure. In short, Clinton put Israel under more pressure to cave into Paleostinians than George Bush has. There is no contest.
Shall I pick up the Joseph Bodansky book and cite you one or two? Just say the word

Yes. Right now we're in the classic Palestinian Authority "triangulation stage," where some of the terrorist groups sign on to the Roadmap to Stupidity, while others carry out attacks. The PA, of course, demands resources to deal with the problem, does nothing to stop the attacks, while demanding more concessions from Israel.
Next? The Roadmap to Stupidity will be declared invalid by Arafat on a technicality. He, of course, will blame the Jews for everything and stage a nice little incident to make it clear what oppressors those evil Israelis really are. And after that? It's back to full scale Intifada, with Israel to blame for all of it.
We've only had a few decades to figure this one out.

"Clinton was 100 times worse than GWBush when it comes to pressuring Israel"
Where did you get that idea?
During the Clinton Administration, the Israelis embarked on a suicidal course all by themselves. Clinton hitched himself to the wagon in case the journey was to be successful and he pushed the process along.
Towards the end of his administration, with his "stain" becoming his only legacy, he tried to improve his standing in history by pressure on a very willing to be pressured Barak.
Bush, on the other hand, is forcibly putting Israel on the Road to destruction. Hypocrisy drooling from every frequent criticism of Israel's fight against terror.
After 9/11, it's obscene to pressure Israel.
Read an article in today's NYT, where the Administration intends to exert maximum pressure to stop this protective wall the Israelis are building.

I hope the Isaelis are smart enough to feed these Islamic butchers small tracking chips in their food before the let them out on the streets. Then warn them all and make them sign a form saying any particpation in terrorism or planning activity will bring the wrath of IDF instantly. Within a week 1/3 of these rabid dogs would be killed in new raids.f'daPalis anyway.

THE radical Islamic movement Hamas said today that an agreement by the Israeli government paving the way for the release of some 350 Palestinian prisoners was "insufficient". LOL! well then, don't release them.
