But the two guys yesterday were Secret Service. I had the local cops find out for me. They weren't wearing their little pins, so I was suspicious, and then the pin they showed me was not the usual one.

Yes they were, I was just talking about why we were suspecious of those approaching from Hillary's direction.

They may also have been some other Federal Law Enforcement Officers from something like the US Marshals. We've seen them detailed at some of the really big events. As this was a small event, my guess is they're from the local USSS office.

Good point. It's always a good idea to check them out. One time when Staytrue, Kristinn and I FReeped x42 (Nov '01 IIRC) some guy came up to us and started asking questions, acting like he was USSS (and dressed to give that stereotypical USSS look). His act smelled fishy to me, and Kristinn pointedly asked him if he was USSS. The guy said he wasn't, but he refused to say who he was with. He had come over to us just before Clinton made his less-than-grand exit, and we all decided that his job had been to try and distract us while Clinton escaped. It didn't work, and we ended up FReeping Clinton bigtime; but back to the point.

Hillary! has folks on her "team" whose job it is to intimidate - by whatever means. And you did right by checking out credentials yesterday.

One of these book-signings soon... she's gonna have a meltdown. And the press will be there to see it. Whether they'll cover it is another thing entirely.
