We can't forget good old California in the Governors Races. Gray Davis is going to be recalled! I certainly hope we come up with a better candidate than Arnold though!

Naw, the Dem presidential candidate is just as likely to be Wesley Clarke, Hillary Clinton, or a real outsider (likely their best shot, but don't tell them) who would be clean politically, socially moderate, an intriguing outsider, and proven successful 'benevolent' businessman, and thus able to be portrayed as a grass roots 'in touch' kinda guy, who can bring a 'fresh new approach' to Washington. Call it the 'Ventura Effect', even moreso if Arnold wins in CA(though I doubt it, it will be Feinstein). Perhaps a Jeff Bezos or Warren Buffet.

If I'm Karl Rove, that's who I fear.

That is why we saw Karl Rove out marching and cheering with the Howard Dean supporters yesterday.

If Dean gets the nod for the Democrapic Nomination we will see another George Mcgovern type situation.

One picture of Ann a day makes me smile. Two would probably make me pass out from happiness.

Tom McClintock is a great candidate. He ran for Atty general in the last election and only lost by 1%.

Also ... it's Tom who keeps stopping the car tax increases. They are illegal and he's already primed to join another complaint about it which has already been filed.

Dick Ackerman ran for AG. Although generally RINO, you can read about a very non-RINO thing he did recently here.

Tom ran for comptroller.

Never underestimate a democrat governor. The last two socialist presidents came out of nowhere. One upset a sitting president who had just commanded a succesful war campaign.
