15 Reported Killed at Moscow Rock Fest
MOSCOW - At least 15 people were killed Saturday afternoon when explosions that police blamed initially on terrorists roared through the area around a rock festival on Moscow's outskirts, news reports said.
The Interfax and ITAR-Tass news agencies both cited unnamed law-enforcement sources as saying the first blast took place after guards stopped a woman at the entrance to the festival and she detonated an explosives-packed belt.
Interfax put the death toll at 15, while ITAR-Tass said at least 20 had been killed.
Moscow police and the emergency situations ministry could not immediately be reached for comment. The Federal Security Service referred queries to the Moscow police.
The festival, called "Krylya" (Wings), is a highly popular summer event for Moscow's youth. It is held at the Tushino airfield in Moscow's northern outskirts.
There were conflicting reports on where the second blast took place, either at the festival entrance or at a nearby outdoor market. About 20 minutes after the first two explosions were reported, Interfax said there was third blast in the area.
Fears of terrorism have been high in the Russian capital since last October's seizure of a Moscow theater by scores of assailants demanding that Russian forces pull out of Chechnya (news - web sites).
The assailants included women who were strapped with explosives and detonators. Russian special forces ended that seizure by pumping narcotic gas into the theater and then storming in. At least 129 of the approximately 800 hostages died, almost all from the effects of the gas.

The same tactic used by the Palestinian beasts. We may see it here, too, some day.

Putin probably will be outraged. There may be new military campaigns to eliminate terrorism in Russia and Chechnya. You are correct about the possibility of new attacks here.

Islamoids try to kill young Russians same as they try to kill young Israelis at discos and night clubs.

I know everyone with a voice in government is afraid to admit it, but this is a religious war. The Islamic zealots have made it so. They will terget ANY non-muslim.
They can't use Israel as an excuse for this. The Russians have nothing to do with Jerusalem.

Putin is probably thinking about that right now too. A dirty bomb going off in Moscow's Red Square at the front door of the Kremlin would have ruined his day.

At the risk of putting idea's in the wrong minds, I would not be surprised to see the islamawhackos do this here. I have been afraid of something like this happening at a high profile sporting event or gathering.

ISLAM SOLUTION
Islam is NOT a religion
it is a CULT OF HATE
ACTION PLAN:
1) Assemble fleet of troop transport vessels in port cities; 2) move, via bus and/or train all US dwelling Muslims (immigrant or American Born Muslims ABM) to said ports; 3) Load all muslims onto ships, send forthwith to any middle east muslim country; 4) Bulldoze all mosques and islamic schools in US;
5) Concurrently, close borders with military; 6) Pop any American brewed beer, gloat over job well accomplished and relax.

It's just a matter of time before one group or another gets the balls to try. This will have two effects. First off, it will show how absurdly weak our physical security measures are. Second, it will trigger a backlash against terrorism that will far exceed the scope of the attack itself. If we had malls, theaters and rock concerts going up in flames like in Russia, there would be a enraged national outcry. Any politicial that failed to respond adequately would be toast come the next election.

Iranians are not Arbas. Arabs are supporting and leading the Chechyn terrorist. The person pulling all of the strings on the theater attack was a Saudi.

Suicide Bombers Kill 14 at Moscow Rock Festival
Sat July 5, 2003 08:12 AM ET
MOSCOW (Reuters) - At least 14 people were killed and many wounded on Saturday when two women suicide bombers blew themselves up at an open-air rock festival on a Moscow airfield, Russian officials and media said.
An Emergencies Ministry spokesman told Reuters that 14 had died and between 18 and 30 had been wounded in the explosions at Tushino airfield, where thousands had gathered for the all-day event organized by a radio station and sponsored by a brewery.
Interfax news agency quoted police spokesman Valery Gribakin as saying two women had blown themselves up after being denied entry.
There was no claim of responsibility but Chechen separatists have in the past employed suicide bombers and have attacked Moscow events, including a theater show last year.
That turned into a siege at the end of which 129 hostages and 41 guerrillas died, all but two from the effects of a noxious gas used by Russian special forces to disable the hostage-takers.
The small, mainly Muslim region on Russia's southern, Caucasus fringe has been fighting to break away for a decade.
The bill for the rock concert featured almost exclusively Russian bands, including some big names from previous decades.

They're Persians.
Nonetheless their leaders are radical Muslims that strongly support the Palestinian terrorist and hate Israel. Theyve exported terror for decades.
A nuclear armed Iran is not acceptable.

Bu-Bu-Bu-But Russia was against the war in Iraq, don't the Islamonazi's realize the United States is the true enemy? You mean to tell me that compromise with terrorists and their ilk doesn't stop terrorist attacks? Shocked!

The radical Chechens have been threatening Moscow for some time since the theater takeover. The murders of these young people by the Islamofascists will make many Russians very, very angry.

You're confusing apples and oranges. Flattening Grozny is hardly compromising with islamofascists.
There are Russian Orthodox living in North Korea and Putin feels a responsibility toward them.

Re #19
I am not sure if N. Koreans can be real Christians of any kind. They have to worship their Great Leader and Dear Leader as gods first. N. Korea has small number of people who act like Christians. There are even churches. However, S. Korean visitors who attended the services there commented that worshippers are not familliar with rituals and in some cases, they see no bibles inside churches.
If there are real orthodox Christians in N. Korea, what Putin has to do is to bring them out of N. Korea in whatever way he can. I doubt that there are thousands of them. He had better not use them as an excuse to prop up N. Korean regime and play geopolitics in Korea.
