While taking in the dress rehearsal last night for the Capitol Fourth concert at the US Capitol, I thought I saw a familiar figure on the Capitol steps. I said to myself, "Could it be?" and snapped a quick photo...
.
Still uncertain, I moved a bit closer, and it was then that I heard a muffled voice mumbling what sounded like, "...pretty, pretty, pretty." and snapped another shot...
.
The Capitol Police kept me from getting any closer because I did not have a Senate ID.
Was that really Democrat Senator Byrd in his old Klan robe on the Capitol steps last night? Only his Kleagle knows for sure...

Byrd is the Wyrd
According to the West Virginny Teachers Union.
They will be the first to tell you, HEY WE GIVE A SHEET.
To: TLI
It was really difficult to make out all the words, through the sheets.

They're real photographs, not touched up or edited...
In DC, you almost have to have a camera with you at all times.

Maybe it is Robert Byrd's brother--Darth Byrd.

Byrd is an ugly blot on West Virginia. It's a shame that there aren't enough voters in that state who will vote him out of office.

You saw that? Wasn't that a riot?!
"And for all those goody-goodies out there, tough Shiite on a shingle!"
If Robert Byrd saw Dolly's "presentation" tonight, he'd probably have had a stroke.

Byrd's pronouncements should be labeled "Byrd Droppings", same use and effect.

Byrd is pretty worthless, but I still have grudging appreciation for his stopping one of GW Bush's attempts to sneak an illegal alien amnesty into law.

My wife says she heard that Dolly was ecstatic when she was invited to participate in this concert - she really had a great performance, including her serenade of the wounded from Walter Reed......

I'm trying!!!!! :)

I refer to the senator from West Virginia as Senator Byrd Brain. He does have a byrd brain.

I haven't been able to find any photos of Dolly from last night's televised performance. She said that she had the (sequined stars and stripes, body-hugging) outfit made especially for the event. She looked great in it.
I did find this photo of her, from the dress rehearsal the evening of the "Sheets" appearance.

Perhaps Sheets was holding a seance, trying to speak to the dearly departed Billy. Wooooooooo, pretty scary stuff, huh kids?

I finally found pix of Dolly in her stars 'n stripes outfit...
