I grew up in Southern California, it's bad there too. I still talk to my friends there who seeth about it.

What irks me is the pregnant women that flee across into America just as they are going into labor and in our compassion we take them to the hospital and now suddenly their children are American citizens and eligible for medicaid, welfare, busing to California schools, etc.

It got so bad here that the ER at the Bisbee Community Hospital had to close as well as the entire maternity ward. Now everyone with maternity or ER needs has to come 40 miles to Sierra Vista.

We pay for them whelping brats through higher taxes and increased health care premiums. All the while senior citizens and hard working citizens are struggling to pay medical bill for themselves.

I'm just furious at the whole thing. When will they seal ALL the borders and throw all the illegals out no appeals?

After of course taking voiceprints, finger prints right-front-left full and profile photos, blood type, dental pantographs, and DNA. Then the government can tell them that if they are caught in the US illegally a second time they get to stay - on a deserted island of the coast of old French Guiana permanently.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.

I interpret this as meaning they are still citizens of Mexico and therefore not subject to our jurisdiction. If they have not sworn an oath to the US then they are still citizens (illegally resident in our country) of Mexico (or wherever) not US citizens. Amnesty may redefine that to mean we have made them subjects. A child born to a foreign national is still a foreign national.
