Linda does a great job whatever she takes her hand to. Radix did a swell job on the song, I love that.

We are lucky to have talented people here every day of the week.

From Navy Times:

Burger King offers free July 4 Whoppers to overseas troops

Active-duty troops overseas can get free hamburgers at Burger King restaurants July 4.

Troops in Korea, Qatar, Turkey, mainland Japan, Okinawa, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Balkans, Kosovo, the Netherlands and Luxembourg will get free new Great American Burger sandwiches; troops in Kuwait and Iraq will get Whopper burgers, Burger King officials said.

The company expects to provide burgers to an estimated 210,000 troops. In preparation, they flew the ingredients overseas commercially — including 20 tons of beef patties, 86 miles of peppered bacon and “bakery-style” buns that would “pile as high as 122 Washington Monuments” if stacked end to end, Burger King officials said in a news release.

Officials are treating the troops to the free burgers “in honor of their service, sacrifice, dedication and patriotism in defending their country,” according to the news release. The offer is available at Burger King restaurants operated through the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.

AAFES opened its first Burger King in Germany in 1984. There are now 184 restaurants on U.S. bases in 10 countries. The newest, a mobile restaurant, opened June 10 at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq.

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION

The light of God surround you
The love of God enfold you
The power of God protect you
The presence of God watch over you
Wherever you are,God is,
And all is well.
Amen.

Bless This House

Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.

Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.
