Three O'clock in the morning - I don't know why I'm awake, but not for long. Just thought I'd go ahead and post for the Early Birds. Happy Independence Day! See you all later this morning. :)

I am a proud American. Both my maternal and paternal grandparents courageously made the decision to come from Italy to the United States back in the 1920's. They suffered extreme prejudice, poverty and hardship, but they never regretted their decision. They worked hard, learned the language and accepted help from their family and friends, but never from the government. They became naturalized citizens and were proud to call themselves "American."
I will always be grateful to my grandparents for allowing me to be born in the greatest country in the the world. I thank God and them every day for this wonderful blessing.
I am grateful to our founding fathers for having the courage to declare our freedom from tyranny and to all of the Military members past and present for having the courage and selflessness to defend that freedom.
We were hurt immensely as a nation by those that are jealous of what we are and what we stand for, but we have bounced back stronger than ever.
We are blessed with a president who loves God, his family and his country. Together, we will continue to be the strongest and most moral nation.
May our Lord, the most heavenly Father, place his bloodline of protection around our military and us. May He continue to guide our President, His faithful servant, and may He continue to bless the United States abundantly.
Happy Birthday America!

Please check our pledge graphic today. :) When you posted that photograph, I fell in love with it, and somehow it just 'looks' like the 4th of July, so wanted to use it for our pledge today. Happy 4th!
